Paris Haute Couture Week · July 2026
Before the first look reaches the runway, another story is already unfolding outside.
At CHANEL’s Haute Couture presentation in Paris, the arrival of guests brought together some of the most recognisable figures across fashion, cinema and contemporary culture.
Among those photographed was Anna Wintour, one of fashion’s most influential editorial figures, alongside Tilda Swinton, Lupita Nyong’o and Michelle Yeoh — three distinctive presences in international cinema. Alexa Demie brought a new-generation cultural edge to the arrivals, while Paloma Elsesser represented the contemporary fashion landscape from within the industry itself.
Teyana Taylor, Elizabeth Debicki and Carole Bouquet were also photographed arriving, each bringing a distinctly individual presence to the scene surrounding the show. French cinema and Parisian fashion culture continued through Chiara Mastroianni and Caroline de Maigret, while an international guest list reflected the increasingly global audience that gathers around Haute Couture in Paris.
What happens before a show lasts only minutes. Cars arrive, photographers call for attention, guests cross the pavement and disappear through the entrance. Yet within those brief encounters is another visual language of Fashion Week — spontaneous, unscripted and very different from what eventually appears on the runway.
CHANEL Guest Arrivals: Before the Runway documents those moments through ARRVL’s lens: the personalities, movement and atmosphere immediately before the show.
