At Paris Haute Couture Week, Lebanese couturier Saiid Kobeisy presented Passage Privé, a couture collection that celebrated elegance through movement, craftsmanship and quiet sophistication. Inspired by the cultural richness of the early twentieth century, the collection reflected a journey of transformation, where every silhouette became part of a larger narrative.

Presented in an intimate setting, Passage Privé unfolded with a sense of effortless refinement. Architectural tailoring met fluid draping, while intricate embroidery, luxurious velvet, metallic French lace and delicate feather details highlighted the exceptional level of craftsmanship that defines the house. A restrained colour palette of ecru, off-white, soft pink, pale green, bronze and soft blue enhanced the timeless character of the collection.

Rather than focusing on spectacle, Saiid Kobeisy invited the audience into a world where couture became a story of identity and discovery. Kimono-inspired sleeves introduced graceful movement, Art Deco-inspired details celebrated the glamour of a remarkable era, and every carefully constructed silhouette reflected the dialogue between heritage and contemporary femininity.

Watching the collection in person, the meticulous attention to detail became even more evident. The garments revealed new dimensions as they moved, demonstrating the precision of couture craftsmanship and the designer’s commitment to creating pieces that balance structure with softness.
